I have been creating computer art for just over two years. In that time I have done illustrations and commercial graphics for the following companies/ jobs: Cisco Internet Systems, producers of nation-wide internet scholastic curriculums. Computer Bits, a computer information magazine reaching Oregon, Arizona, and Colorado. Various amatuer and low-budget films. Brochures and identity packages for companies and individuals.

The dawn my art, or up from the slime.

I have drawn, painted, or sculpted off and on all of my life. I worked in the restaurant business for most of my 'working' life until I tired of it and went back to school. I took a computer class and became fascinated with creating art with a computer. As I learned to use Photoshop and Illustrator, I created fun images while discovering the capabilities of these and other graphic softwares. When I decided to try and make a living doing computer art I quit creating fun art and turned to 'commercial' styles. As I have started getting some recognition and jobs, I have begun incorporating funny and dark subject matter into my art. There has always been a dark side to much of my art, so I guess I have come full circle artistically.

Jobs, Fun, or just Information.

Since I am determined to make graphic arts a living, I would be very interested in trading ideas in how to market myself and get started as a business. I would also like to trade ideas for creating graphics in Photoshop and Illustrator.
